Präapplikative drucktechnik
Es ist einfacher meine Kunst zu verstehen, wenn man mich als Mensch kennt. Soweit ich zurück denken kann, stand der Wunsch, kreativ zu sein, an erster Stelle. Die Berufswahl ist dementsprechend ausgefallen und so wurde ich Schriftenmalerin. Meine Arbeit habe ich schnell lieben gelernt. Sie ist ein fester Bestandteil meines Lebens, und sie führte mich zur Kunst. Schon in der Lehre durfte ich für Künstler Siebdrucke anfertigen. Es folgten erste eigene Versuche und mein künstlerischer Werdegang war besiegelt. Dabei hat das Handwerk eine Schlüsselrolle gespielt, auch heute noch, 30 Jahre später.
Im Verlauf der Jahre entwickelte ich eine Technik welche ich seit 2006 einsetze und seit 2013 „Präapplikative Drucktechnik“ nenne: Acryl- oder Ölfarbe wie auch Echtgold werden von mir auf unterschiedliches Material aufgetragen. Den finalen Charakter erhält das Bild durch einen weiteren Schritt, dem Druck direkt auf die gemalte Farbe - je nach Motiv und Umsetzbarkeit im Giclée- oder im Siebdruckverfahren. Ich schaffe so eine neue Bildsprache, die sich erst durch die Kombination der verschiedenen Techniken manifestiert. Anfänglich benutzte ich nur Leinwände, mittlerweile sind es auch andere Untergründe wie zum Beispiel altes Holz, rostiges Eisen, Plexiglas, Ziegel, Karton und vieles mehr.
Es ist mir ein grosses Bedürfnis, jeden Arbeitsgang selber durchzuführen. Speziell bei den Würfeln, die ich CUBES nenne, ist das ein Thema. Vom Zuschnitt bis zur Kunstharz- Veredelung, es geht alles durch meine Hand. So findet man bei mir einen bunten Mix aus verschiedenen Motiven und Techniken. Das entspricht meinem Naturell, die Abwechslung ist für mich essentiell. Ich bin zwar ein bunter Hund, aber mein hoher Qualitätsanspruch ist beruflich bedingt, und das spiegelt sich in meinen Werken wieder.
Dem Hunger nach neuen Projekten ist es zu verdanken, dass meine Werke sich in einem stetigen Wandel befinden. Meine Vorliebe ist das Experimentieren und auch die damit verbundene Freude an der Idee, Momente und Situationen zu schaffen, die das Leben so nicht präsentieren würde. Aus dem Grund begann ich mich 2014 vermehrt mit der Gegenständlichen Malerei auseinanderzusetzen. Die spielerischen und bunten Akzente in surrealen oder realen Situationen setze ich nicht nur in Bildern um, sondern auch in anderer Form wie zum Beispiel in Filmen und Skulpturen. Die von mir entwickelten Würfel (CUBES) führen meine Bilder in die Dreidimensionalität.
Da ich in der öffentlichen Werbung arbeite, vermarkte ich meine Arbeiten hauptsächlich selber, so mache ich auch immer wieder mit bunten und schrillen Aktionen auf mich aufmerksam.

Pre-applicative printing technique
It's easier to understand my art when you know me as a person. As far as I can think back, the desire to be creative came first. The career choice turned out accordingly and so I became a font painter. I quickly learned to love my work. It's an integral part of my life which led me to art. Already during my apprenticeship I had the opportunity to make screen prints for artists. The first attempts of my own followed and my artistic career was sealed. Crafts have played a key role in this, even today, 28 years later.
Over the years I have developed a technique which I have been using since 2006 and which I have called "pre-applicative printing technique" since 2013: I apply acrylic or oil paint as well as real gold to different materials. The final character is given to the picture by a further step, the printing directly onto the painted color - depending on the motif and feasibility in giclée or screen printing. In this way I create a new visual language that only manifests itself through the combination of the various techniques. At first, I only used canvases, but now I use other surfaces such as old wood, rusty iron, plexiglas, bricks, cardboard and much more.
It is a great desire of mine to carry out every work step myself. Specifically so with the square sculptures I call CUBES. From cutting to resin finishing, it all goes through my hand. So you will find a colorful mix of different motifs and techniques. Variety is essential for me. Even though I'm multifaceted, my high quality standards are professional, and this is reflected in my work.
My works are in a constant state of change. My preference is to experiment and also the associated joy in the idea of creating moments and situations that life would not present in this way. For this reason, I began to increasingly explore figurative painting in 2014. I implement the playful and colorful accents in surreal or real situations not only in paintings, but also in other forms, such as films and sculptures. The CUBES I developed lead my art into three-dimensionality.
Since I work in public advertising, I mainly market my work myself, so I also draw attention to myself time and again with colorful and flashy campaigns.
